Hunting the woodcock

This documentary is dedicated to the woodcock, known as the “lady of the forest,” a singular, discreet, and elusive bird admired for both its beauty and the challenge it presents. Together with the Solognac team, the Young Wild Hunters travel to Acaricies, in the heart of Asturias, to show how to find and hunt these evasive birds. With their extraordinary camouflage and a nearly 360-degree field of vision, woodcocks usually spot the hunter before the hunter spots them. Hunting the fallow deer in Asturias

In this episode, the Solognac team joins Young Wild Hunters in trading shotguns for rifles to hunt the Asturian fallow deer. Two intense days of rain and northern cold make this pursuit anything but easy.
