Jailbreak Rainbows

Pete Bowman heads to Pointe au Baril with good buddy Steve Niedzwiecki as they hit the almighty Georgian Bay for early season northern pike. Unfortunately, they were two weeks too late for the prime bite. Before they waste the entire couple of fishing days on small to medium sized pike, Pete decides to "pull the plug" on the northern fishing and trailers the boat twenty minutes south to Parry Sound. The Giants of Hawk Lake

Angelo Viola and Pete Bowman pay a return visit to what may be the best 'small walleye lake' in the nation. They're on Hawk Lake in northwestern Ontario, and again they're catching giants! As with all trophy fisheries, it takes time and work in order to succeed. The boys cover a lot of water, essentially looking for "one bite per spot," and by the way, those bites are all big! Batchawana Bay Smallmouth

Pete Bowman travels to Batchawana Bay on Lake Superior with Steve Niedzwiecki, as they seek the ever-feisty smallmouth bass. They cover sandy points, big sand flats and a complex of rock piles and islands, with both fast and slow presentations. Golden Eagle Smallies

Angelo Viola and grandson Nik "V" head out to the Montreal River system in search of smallmouth bass. In a rather intense session, Ang teaches Nik the fundamentals on fishing smallies from top to bottom. Salmon of The Soo

Steve Niedzwiecki is fishing the rapids area of the St. Mary's River in Sault Ste. Marie with local fishing guide Tyler Dunn. They are searching for the acrobatic Atlantic salmon. Northern Rockies Walleye and Grayling

Pete Bowman and Steve Niedzwiecki fly into BC's Rocky Mountains in search of what they deem "polar opposites." They first find the mother of all weed-beds on a small fly-in walleye lake and proceed to catch fish after fish, including some bonus pike. They then fly to another mountain gem and fish some ultra-clean, frigid-cold feeder creeks for the unique Arctic grayling. As a bonus, Pete tries the unheard of - catching a grayling on a bass bait. Lac Seul Outpost Adventure

Angelo Viola teams up with fishing buddy Steve Niedzwiecki in the big Princecraft rig, while Pete Bowman goes along solo in a second boat as they all take a "great northern adventure" to the upper reaches of Ontario's Lac Seul. They find their way to a place called Tom's Landing (normally a fly-in outpost) by way of water. Extreme Weather Walleye

Reaching Deep for Walleye

Pete Bowman and Steve Niedzwiecki put on the heavy clothing in November as they travel to what may be the world's best fall walleye water, the Adolphus Reach, which joins the Bay of Quinte to Lake Ontario. It's been a while since either guy has been there, so the hopes are high. Since they have no "kicker" motor, they have to come up with different ways of slowing down the rig in order to pull their crankbaits under 2-mph behind planer boards. Their method pays off BIG TIME!
